  • Acclimate planks: Store planks in the room for 48 hours.
  • Leave expansion gap: Leave ¼ inch (5-8mm) around walls and fixtures.
  • Check locking system: Align and snap planks properly.
  • Stagger joints: Offset plank ends for stability (avoid continuous lines across the floor).
  • Avoid heavy hammering: Use a tapping block to lock planks.
  • Dry spills quickly: While the flooring is waterproof, standing water can seep into gaps or damage the subfloor.
